Lisa Bond, South African born and fully educated with a British passport and permanent residency in France, is a widely traveled tri-lingual designer with her roots in Africa and her designs linked to the concrete-real of every major city. With more than 20 years of Interior Architectural Design creation from Europe to Africa she has created “modernist connections to the deeper wildness of Africa” which are forged in her understanding of the astoundingly real municipal/ town/ village/ borough/ district/ regional laws and the designed outcome of every emotional clientele.

Her Design projects a “wildness” and its inherent connection to something physically and emotionally deeper. In Europe she discovered the confidential architectural histories, which were bound in the governmental controls, of the intricate aspects of European quasi-evolutionary architectural laws and was able to free her clients Heritage renovations from their “silent heavy secrets” and give them world-class futures. 

 

For Lisa, art, design, architecture and emotion are like oxygen, giving life & sustaining everything she creates.

After a teething experience as a graduate designer with a small firm, Lisa changed her life’s course and worked as the “Assistant Interior Designer” to the Head Designer in a large corporate Interior Design Firm, “INTERIORS INTERNATIONAL GROUP”, from Durban in South Africa. 

 

Here she discovered her strong independent and entrepreneurial spirit which taught her how to fearlessly run her own “Architectural Design” business where-ever her design adventure has taken her.  Her love of design, art and architecture has sent her into the Indian Ocean from the Seychelles to La Reunion & Mayotte (1994-2000), on into her African home in Cape Town and her love affair with France (from 2001 till present).
